How do I manage a bike that has already been posted?

If you are a new member to Light-Bikes you may notice that you have a bike posted however you can not manage this bike. This is because Light-Bikes created temporary accounts for each bike on the site. You need to use the Contact Us page and or send an email to webmaster@light-bikes.com and request that the bike be associated with your account.

Steps:
1.) You must first become a member of light bikes..
2.) You must send an email to webmaster@light-bikes.com of your Email Address, Name, Bike Model and Description of the Bike.
3.) If there are any new pictures for the bike then attach them to the above email.
4.) Light-Bikes will contact you and let you know your account has been updated. You will then be able to Log In and select Manage Bikes and you will notice the bike listed for your account.

How do I upload a new picture?

Currently all pictures must me emailed to webmaster@light-bikes.com. The webmaster will attach the picture to your bike after the picture has been watermarked.

Why does my bike not have a picture updated?

If your bike was recently updated and you have sent the picture to Light-Bikes then please allow 2-3 Business days to have your picture updated. Light-Bikes will update your picture as soon as possible. Once we have done so then your image will automatically show for your bike. Once your image has been updated then your bike will be displayed in the New Bikes section of the home page.

What if I want to add a bike but do not want it to show up?

Light-Bikes bike editor features the ability to not show you bike on the web. Review the bike management section and the legend for more information. A bike marked with a red box will not show up on the web. Why is this important? If you are planning on building a bike you can use the bike editor as a toll to build it with and analyze the parts and weights to get the perfect match without posting the bike on the web.

So while you build your bike you can use this section to update the weights. When your finished you can then change the Re Box to a Green Box (Post on Web). This will now show your bike on the web.

If my bike is marked as do not post can the picture still be updated?

Yes, even though you do not want the bike posted on the web Light-bikes can still attach your bike picture to your bike.
